Director of Quality Assurance - DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative

The DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative (DCPNI) is a newly formed non-profit organization with the mission to increase the number of children who complete their education from cradle to college, and enter adulthood as productive participants in the 21st Century economy and in the civic life of their communities.

DCPNI’s Director of Quality Assurance will oversee the department responsible for collecting, analyzing and disseminating data for learning, continuous program improvement, and accountability in developing and implementing a pipeline of supports and services based on the best available evidence.

- Masters degree required. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Urban Studies, Sociology, or another social science field highly preferred.

-Candidate must demonstrate solid mathematical ability, analytic thinking, project design, and research skills. Experience with qualitative or quantitative analysis, database and data system development and management, and data analysis required. Knowledge of statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, Stata), mapping software (ArcGIS), or computer programming languages a plus.

-Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and self-confidence, and the ability to multi-task and drive projects, in a motivated, effective way required.

-Should have a strong interest in one or more of the following topics: community building and neighborhood revitalization, education, economic development, or performance management.
